Southern Regional Partners With Wildlife Hospital

Fund-raising efforts are currently underway for the GROW Wildlife Hospital of Georgia, which, when constructed, will be the first specialized wildlife veterinary hospital in the state.

Southern Regional Medical Center in Riverdale recently began an exclusive partnership with GROW Wildlife, Inc., in which Southern Regional will donate its recently expired medicines and surplus medical equipment to the veterinary hospital.

Southern Regional Health System To Donate Expired Medical Equipment

(ATLANTA) February 9, 2010 –GROW Wildlife, Inc. - a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation that is raising funds to build Georgia's first specialized wildlife veterinary hospital - has formed an exclusive partnership with Southern Regional Health System, leader in providing innovative healthcare to metro Atlanta, in which the Health System will donate expired medical equipment and supplies for use at the future GROW Wildlife Hospital.

GROW Wildlife Effort Ushers In Changes

GROW Wildlife, Inc. (formerly The Georgia Rehabilitation of Wildlife Center) announced the launch of a new website and a new corporate name which will allow national expansion of the 501(c)3 nonprofit organization’s mission and objectives to provide professional veterinary care to injured or disadvantaged wildlife as a result of human activity staffed by American College of Zoological Medicine (ACZM) residents and specialists.

It was no small-time event. The Jack Hanna Benefit fundraiser at the Georgia Aquarium Jan. 18 for Georgia’s only wildlife veterinary hospital and research center to be located in Chattahoochee Hill Country featured many of Hanna’s animals and emerging country music star Jason Coley.

GROW Wildlife Hospital Will Become Environmental Draw To City of Chattahoochee Hills

GROW Wildlife, Inc., a non-profit corporation that is raising $3.5 million to build Georgia's first dedicated wildlife veterinary teaching hospital, announced that the facility will also be designed as an environmental attraction that has received the backing of the City of Chattahoochee Hills in south Fulton County.
